Here at The fearless Knights of Middle Earth we have adopted a DKP system for raiding.

What is DKP?

DKP is a point system used to bid for wanted items.

There are several ways to gain DKP.

+2 DKP On time bonus(be ready for invite 30 mins before raid start)
+8 If you are here at start of raid
+4 If you are brought into raid after start
+1 DKP for each hour in raid
+2 DKP for boss kill for each fellowship member (eg. if your tank gets the killing blow on thrang all 6 ppl in the fellowship get +2 DKP) All other raid members get +1 DKP

So if you are on time (ready 30 mins before start), your fellowship gets 2 boss kills and the raid lasts 5 hrs you will receive 19 DKP


There are a few ways to lose DKP too.

-10 DKP if you sign up and don't show or don't let leader's know 2 hrs before raid due to start
-5 DKP for persistent disruptive behaviour at raid leaders discretion.


And now for spending them hard earned DKP

Basically if you want an item you bid for it. People that want an item to wear bid first. Then anyone else that wants the item (to wear) may try outbid until there is only 1 bidder left who wins the item.
If there is nobody that wants the item to wear then anyone can bid.

DKP points cost

Gems (rift) 10 DKP Minimum Bid
Blue items (eg Trimmed Cloak/Class Armour etc) 1 DKP Minimum bid to Wear/20 DKP Minimum bid to Sell

what is considered raid in this kin, can u clarify that one, because many kins have different rules and it would be nice to know for sure ;)
Are Carn Dum, Uru, annuminas or ettendeep all considered raids or just events?

Tbh, we hardly, if at all, work with DKP. Wouldn't worry much about it

Yeah, a few month ago we used this system but we don't use it anymore. So don't worry about it as CK also mentioned
